SilTest Semiconductors GmbH, a leading European provider of semiconductor test, product engineering, and AI-powered yield analytics solutions, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wellmatix, a Korean-based AI platform company focused on materials discovery and semiconductor innovation.

The agreement was formalized during SEMICON Korea as part of the EU Business Hub delegation, reinforcing growing collaboration between European and Korean deep-tech ecosystems in the semiconductor domain.

Under the terms of the MoU, Wellmatix will act as SilTest’s representative in the Korean semiconductor market, supporting business development, customer engagement, and technology collaboration. In parallel, SilTest will represent Wellmatix in the European market, facilitating access to key semiconductor manufacturers, research institutions, and industrial partners across the EU.

This partnership brings together two complementary organizations:

• Wellmatix contributes advanced AI-driven materials modeling and discovery capabilities, working closely with semiconductor companies on next-generation materials and process optimization.

• SilTest provides deep expertise in post-silicon engineering, including test solution development, characterization, yield analysis, and AI-powered tools such as YieldOptiX and its VISTAR platform.

By combining these strengths, the collaboration aims to bridge materials innovation with device-level testing and yield optimization, creating a more integrated, data-driven approach across the semiconductor value chain.
